Recently, the official renderings of the medium and large-sized electric car, Enjoy S9 (pictured), jointly created by Huawei and BAIC, have been released to the public. According to reliable sources, it is expected that this new car will have its global debut at the Beijing International Auto Show in April and is planned to be officially launched for sale in June.
From the publicly available declaration drawings, it can be observed that the design style of the Enjoy S9 is simple yet imposing. The front face features a C-shaped headlight and a through-type light strip, along with a large trapezoidal air intake design, giving the vehicle a strong sense of sportiness. The body lines are smooth and adopt a sleek shape. The rear of the car also uses a through-type taillight design, combined with a small spoiler on the rear trunk, highlighting the overall appearance with a sense of fashion and technology. In terms of dimensions, the Enjoy S9 is 5160mm long, 1987mm wide, and 1486mm high, with a wheelbase of 3050mm, ensuring a spacious and comfortable interior space.
Intelligent configuration is a major competitive advantage of the Enjoy S9, equipped with the Huawei Hongmeng in-car system, providing a smooth operating experience and a wealth of functional applications. At the same time, the vehicle is equipped with the Huawei MDC intelligent driving computing platform, supporting L2+ level autonomous driving functions, including lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and automatic parking, among other advanced features, further enhancing driving safety and convenience.
In addition, the Enjoy S9 also adopts the Huawei AR-HUD head-up display technology, which can project real-time navigation information and important vehicle data onto the windshield, allowing drivers to focus more on the road ahead and thus enhance driving safety during the driving process.
In terms of power performance, the Enjoy S9 offers two versions for consumers to choose from: a single motor version and a dual motor version. The single motor version has a maximum power of 227 kilowatts and a peak torque of 350 Newton-meters, while the dual motor version has a more powerful performance, with a maximum power of 385 kilowatts and a peak torque of up to 675 Newton-meters.
As the first model of collaboration between Huawei and BAIC, the brand influence of Xiangjie S9 still needs to be tested by the market, but with its outstanding product strength and Huawei's leading technological empowerment, it is expected to engage in fierce competition with several competing products such as NIO ET7, XPeng P7, BYD Han EV, and Tesla Model 3 after its launch.
